Halloween Party for Alumni and Students with Children
Wednesday, October 31st, 1:00pm-3:00pm | Alumni Lounge of Welcome Center- 50 West 4th
Join fellow NYU alumni and students with children (ages 0-12) for a fun Halloween party before marching in the annual Greenwich Village Children's Halloween Parade. This event is free of charge and will offer a light buffet-style lunch as well as Halloween crafts for the kids. Please click here to register. The Graduate Life Committee is the only committee dedicated to solely to graduate students university-wide and interfaces with the Student Senators’ Council and The University Comittee on Student Life. Grads Go Explore: The Museum of Sex

Join grads for a trip to the notorious Museum of Sex! The Museum of Sex eliminates any stigma against stuffy museum visits and proves itself a venue both quirky and educational. In recognizing the importance of cultural views of sex and sexuality, the Museum of Sex has re-imagined the role that museums can play in our lives.
In order to reserve your spot, please RSVP here. RSVPs will be confirmed with a $7.00 deposit on a first come, first serve basis. The deposit should be submitted to Graduate Student Life at the Student Resource Center, located in the Kimmel Center suite 210, 60 Washington Square South.
Grads Go Bike: Bike and Shakes!
Experience New York in a whole new way with this 3-hour bike tour through New York's West Side Highway Bike Path - Enjoy expert commentary from one of your own Graduate Student Ambassadors. This ride begins in Washington Square and leads up through the West Side of the city down to Battery Park to enjoy a burger and shake at Shake Shack. Don't worry if you don't own a bike, we'll be using NYU's BikeShare program! Highlights include the Highline and passing by the Intrepid Air Museum on our way to Shake Shack!

Graduate Students/Faculty of Color Dining Series

Graduate Students/Faculty of Color Dinner Series allows for informal conversations between faculty and graduate students of color over dinner. The purpose of the dinner is to provide an opportunity for Graduate Students to hear from various faculty members about their journeys and best practices for navigating the academy in an intimate setting. This program is in partnership with the Office of Graduate Student Life at the Student Resource Center. This talk will include Vincent Guilamo-Ramos. Space is limited. Students in the Military Meet-Up

Grads Go Out: LGBTQ & Ally Community Building in NYC
Sunday, November 11th, 3:00pm-8:00pm | Meet in Kimmel Center Lobby at 3:00pm
Join us for a night OUT! All graduate students are invited to meet and network during this afternoon of LGBTQ & Ally community building that will feature informal discussions, resource sharing, networking and food! Grads will start their afternoon at Soho's Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay & Lesbian Art. Immediately following will be a short bite to eat and then off to end the night at Les Poisson Rouge's weekly "Le Bingo", where the tagline is "Everyone’s got a chance to win at this rollicking and fun-filled affair!". Fee includes 2 bingo boards.
