Graduate Success Series: Research 101: Back to School Basics

If you have been out of school and have decided to return or continue your education, then this session is for you. We will cover the basics of how doing research has changed, especially focusing on the NYU Libraries website, online catalogs, and databases. Make sure to bring questions!

Graduate Students/Faculty of Color Dining Series

Graduate Students/Faculty of Color Dinner Series allows for informal conversations between faculty and graduate students of color over dinner. The purpose of the dinner is to provide an opportunity for Graduate Students to hear from various faculty members about their journeys and best practices for navigating the academy in an intimate setting. This program is in partnership with the Office of Graduate Student Life at the Student Resource Center. This talk will include Doctor Shankar Prasad.

Grads do Community Service: Walk with us to Cure Lupus
Saturday, October 20, 8:30am - 12:30pm | Meet at Kimmel Center Lobby at 8:30am
Volunteer with fellow NYU grads at the 9th annual New York City ‘Walk with Us to Cure Lupus’ walk-a-thon! This event changes lives and brings people together in the quest to end the suffering caused by lupus. Free food and t-shirts will be provided for volunteers during the event.
Volunteer duties will consist of directing walkers during the event and helping with clean-up afterwards.

Join the Dining Advisory Board!
Get involved -- become a member of the Dining Advisory Board. Tell us what you want, what you like, what you don't like and what just plain bugs you. It's easy; it doesn't require much time and will contribute to the NYU community. The committee will meet on the first Monday of each month from 3:30pm - 4:30pm, starting in October.
