Integrating Spirituality and Practice next meeting | 7:00 pm
Hopper Studio, 1 Washington Square North.
Dr. Evan Senreich will be speaking to us on "Respecting Each Client's View of the Unknown: An Inclusive Definition of Spirituality for Social Work Practice".
Integrating Spirituality and Practice is a student group formed in 2010 for the purpose of exploring the intersectionality of spiritual practice and social work. The group meets once a month, and welcomes students of all faiths, backgrounds, and experiences to participate.

Knowing what to expect can put your interviewing anxiety at ease. Learn how to prepare for internship and full-time job interviews. Strategize appropriate responses to the toughest questions, such as strengths, weaknesses, "Tell me about yourself," and salary responses. Setting the Stage for School Success for Children with AD/HD | 1:00-2:00 pm
Kimmel Center, Room 912
School success is an important concern for all parents. For those individuals whose child is diagnosed with AD/HD there some unique challenges and opportunities. Join us to learn effective parenting and educational strategies for children with AD/HD. This program focuses on the concepts of executive function, organizational skills, parental engagement, and other factors contributing to school success. Learn how and when to have your child (re-)evaluated, identify and learn how to access additional supports, and explore other strategies and activities that can help your child feel successful.

Instructor: Lori Evans, Ph.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the NYU School of Medicine and a professional staff member of the NYU Child Study Center. She provides clinical services to children and families and provides consultation services to many schools and professionals in the New York-metropolitan area. Her specialty areas are AD/HD and behavior disorders. Register here:
