Grad Life at the Student Resource Center sponsors events throughout the year for all NYU graduate students. We kick off the year with Grad Welcome Week, and then plan an ongoing calendar of socials, outings, and workshops.

From August 25 until September 5th, NYU's Graduate Student Welcome Week offers programs, workshops, and events designed just for new graduate students! Don't miss out on this opportunity to meet other students from across the university, acquaint yourself with NYU and NYC, and have a lot of fun in the process! Welcome Week Information coming soon!
breakfast for dinner
At the end of each semester, Grad Life sponsors an evening of pancakes, bacon, and OJ, and grad students are invited to take a break from studying and eat Breakfast for Dinner! Partners and family members are always invited, and the event is free. This event takes place on the evening of the university's reading day.
graduate first year success series
The Graduate First Year Success Series is designed to start your graduate career with the necessary resources and skills to be a successful scholar. This program is coordinated in conjunction with the graduate residence halls of the Office of Residential Education.
graduate faculty/students of color dinner series
In partnership with the Center for Multicultural Education and Programs, these monthly dinners allow students of all backgrounds enjoy an informal dinner with faculty who speak on topics pertinent to graduate students of color.

Meet graduate students from across the university at our monthly socials at local NYC establishments.
graduate wilderness adventures
Wilderness Adventures provides graduate students the opportunity to escape for a weekend getaway for 1-2 day hiking trips to upstate New York in the fall and ski trips in the winter. This program gives graduate students the opportunity to network with each other and explore New York beyond the city. This program is a partnership between the Office of Student Activities and Graduate Life at the Student Resource Center.
