One Day Service Projects
The Center for Student Acivities, Leadership and Service organizes a series of one-day work projects throughout the year. This program is designed to give students an opportunity to participate in a variety of one-time volunteer projects such as soup kitchens, beach cleanups, housing construction and many others.

Crafted with Care
Take-a-break and stop by the Kimmel Center 7th floor lounge every Wednesday from 5-7PM and put your creativity to work! Each week, the Center for Student Activities, Leadership and Service sponsors a craft project that will provide handmade items to local senior centers, hospitals, schools, the military, or families in need.
Q-Chat every Monday
Every Monday 7-8pm
Q-Chat is a weekly informal on-line discussion group for those questioning their sexual and/or gender identity as well as those thinking about coming out or already out. Q-Chat is moderated by a member of the counseling staff, an Office of LGBT Student Services Staff member, and other NYU students.

NYUeVita is a new online service which provides students a convenient and organized place to record and archive their many experiences outside the classroom. Writing samples, artwork, job letters, leadership roles, and global experience can be incorporated into NYUeVita.
Give yourself the competitive edge when interviewing with potential employers. Take advantage of this FREE service and share your NYUeVita folders with potential employers and/or graduate schools. Keep a record of your optional practical training (OPT) activity.

International Education Week (IEW) is an annual joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education. The national week-long program promotes international exchange and fosters greater global awareness. New York University (NYU) is doing its part by incorporating a global perspective into both the academic and co-curricular programs offered throughout the community. NYU will celebrate the spirit of IEW throughout the month of November.

Big Red Chair Series at Skirball
NYU and Community Board 2 Manhattan are preparing for the 19th Annual Children's Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Costumed children ages 3-12 and parents or guardians are invited to line up at the Washington Square Arch at 1:00 P.M. Treats, entertainment, and rides will take place on LaGuardia Place between Washington Square South and West 3rd Street after the parade march until 4:00 P.M.
