NYU Welcome Week

OutReach

OutReach is an overnight orientation to community service at New York University for new undergraduate students. Participants spend three days prior to Welcome Week engaged in service projects throughout the city, and involves an application process. Find out more about OutReach.
Back to the Square

Back to the Square welcomes sophomores, juniors, seniors, and continuing graduate students back to NYU for the start of each academic year. Find out more about Back to the Square.
Breakfast for Dinner
Breakfast for Dinner is a part of NYU's Take-a-Break programs at the end of each semester, during finals week. Commuter and graduate students are invited to enjoy Breakfast for Dinner free of cost at the Kimmel Center's Marketplace. Find out more about Breakfast for Dinner.
Parent and Family Day
In October, parents and family members of new undergraduate students are invited to attend a day of school-specific sessions hosted by deans and faculty; information and presentations on academic and student life; and a reception hosted by President John Sexton and the NYU Parents Committee. 100 Nights Before Commencement
100 Nights Before Commencement celebrates the beginning of the end for the upcoming graduating class. This graduation information fair features details on University Commencement, Senior Week, school-specific graduation ceremonies, and guests from helpful offices such as Career Development and Alumni Relations.
