Hello, My name is Michael Dunckley, and I am truly delighted to join the Student Resource Center as the Assistant Coordinator of Commuter Student Services. Some of my responsibilities are to advise the Commuter Circle, assist in the coordination of Commuter/Faculty programming and help facilitate Welcome Week, Commuter Appreciation Week and Breakfast for Dinner. After graduating from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Arts in English I worked at NYU as a Budget and Communications Assistant within the office of Information Technology Services. After working at ITS for several years, although it was a rewarding experience, I realized that I desired a career where I could assist students on a more personal and individual basis. I am currently pursuing a M.A. in Higher Education Administration at Steinhardt and expect to complete my degree in the fall. I am originally from Brooklyn, NY but currently reside in Jersey City, NJ. Some of my personal interests are photography, enjoying a Mets or Giants game with friends and relaxing at home with an enthralling book. I look forward to sharing a wonderful year with you all. If you have any questions or need assistance feel free to get in touch. “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” -Mahatma Gandhi |
