Michelle Regina Van-Ess brings more than 8 years of professional experiences, which has allowed her to develop within several vital areas of student affairs. She has provided service in the the areas of advising, counseling, program development, staff leadership development training, residential programming, crisis management, and new student orientation. Her experience at Westchester Community College and Fordham University has prepared her to serve effectively as a guide and mentor to students as they prepare for their journey through the college experience. Michelle received her bachelors degree in Communications/ Broadcasting from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Metropolitan Campus and received her Masters degree from New York University, Steinhardt School of Education in 2003. Both institutions have allowed her to gain experience and knowledge in higher education administration as well as to forge wonderful relationships with colleagues and students from diverse populations. She is excited to return to New York University and work as the Assistant Director of the Student Resource Center. |
