    Commuter Student Council is offering a super sweet deal to Six Flags Fright Fest this Friday. Ride on a free bus with CSC to Six Flags and buy tickets for Only $25 each, that's more than half off regular admission price!!! Tickets go on sale Tuesday, October 16th at 12pm.

    CSC Presents: Scary Movie Night
    FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19 6:30pm-9pm

    Meet in Kimmel Commuter Lounge at 6:30pm

    Can't make it to Six Flags? No problem! We will be screening a scary movie on Friday, October 19 from 7-9 pm in Tisch Building (721 Broadway, room 109). We will meet at the Commuter Lounge at 6:30 pm to drink hot cocoa and eat pumpkin pie and vote on which movie, then walk together as a group to the room reserved.

    Reel Queer Film Series: PARIAH
    Thursday Oct 18th, 7-9pm

    Critically acclaimed film Directed by NYU Tisch alumnae Dee Rees, Pariah highlights the trials and tribulations of a young black woman in Brooklyn as she explores her sexual and gender identity. It illustrates how the responses of family, friends and significant others may be simultaneously empowering and devastating for queer folks of color. The film showcases a compelling coming of age story in NYC at the intersection of racial identity, sexual and gender expression.

    Join the Dining Advisory Board
    Get involved by becoming a member of the Dining Advisory Board. Tell us what you want, what you like, what you don't like, and what just plain bugs you. It's easy; it doesn't require much time and will contribute to the NYU community. The committee will meet on the first Monday of each month from 3:30pm-4:30pm, starying in October. If you are interested, email Ann-Marie Powell.

    Class Activity Board Meetings
    Class of 2013: Thursday from 12:30-1:30pm, Class of 2014: Tuesday from 1-2pm, Class of 2015: Monday from 5-6pm
    It's never too late to GET INVOLVED. Class Activities Boards are a great way for NYU undergraduate students to get involved with campus life, meet other active students, plan interesting and fun events, and gain valuable leadership experience. Attend a meeting next week in the NYU Student Resource Center (2nd Floor of Kimmel).

    Intergroup Dialogue Applications available! Deadline: December 2 by midnight
    Intergroup Dialogue (IGD) is a nationally recognized 1-credit course that brings together small groups of undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences and gain new knowledge related to diversity and social justice. This 8-week course takes place in the spring semester only and is facilitated by NYU Graduate Students. Credit is offered through the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities in the Professions within the Steinhardt School of Culture, Communication & Education. Questions?
