Serve! is a one-year program designed for service-oriented commuter and off-campus sophomore to senior undergraduate students to participate in community service projects in the local NYC area. Application closes Friday, April 6th.
Commuter Student Council Elections Speeches Due Monday, April 2, 2012 5pm
Election Process for the NYU Commuter Student Council 2012-2013
Please read the following information carefully to learn more about the Commuter Student Council (CSC) election, positions, and nomination processes.
Only currently enrolled NYU commuter students are eligible to vote or participate in elections. In addition, those running for positions must be continuing students either part-time or full-time in the 2012-2013 academic year.
All speeches must be emailed to CSC Election Chair, Neha Sundaram by 5 pm on Monday, March 26, 2012. If you are interested in becoming a candidate for a position on CSC, please submit a written speech of up to 250 words. (Speeches exceeding this length will be returned for editing).
In your speech, include why you’re interested in that position and what you’d like to accomplish during your year in office. Please attach your speech as a Word document, clearly indicating which position you are applying for.
During the CSC social on March 27th, 12:30-1:30p.m., candidates are invited to deliver an optional 2 minute election speech. If for some reason, you are unable to attend, you may send a 2 minute video recording or send a proxy representative to speak on your behalf.
