By submitting your application you are aware of the responsibilites of the program, including:

- Serving as a role model and mentor to a group of commuter students
- Send a weekly email to students informing them about on and off-campus events and inviting them to conact you.
- Hold bi-weekly office hours so students can meet with you in person.
- Fulfill two programming hours per month, in a variety of different commuter-specific programs.
- Conduct Welcome Week programming prior to the fall semester.
- Contribute one article to the Commuter Circular per semester.
- Attend monthly staff meetings and bi-weekly 1-on-1 meetings with supervisor.
- Assist with Student Resource Center event as needed, including Commuter Preview Day,Commuter Appreciation Week, and OCSC or Commuter Circle events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Coordinators and Graduate Assistants.

Commuter Assistants must be available for mandatory training and Welcome Week programming:
Monday, August 24 - Friday, August 28, 2009 (Fall Training)

Sunday, August 30- Friday, September 4, 2009 (NYU Welcome Week- work 6 hours this week)
Thursday, January 14 - Friday, January 15, 2010
(Spring Training)
