Saving Money is an Art…

…and college students almost have to be experts, especially in New York. It’s a tough job, but you’ll be just fine. The good news is that there is an endless amount of entertainment in New York and students get discounts and deals on lots of things. The bad news is that sometimes you just have to stay home and study for that nasty exam instead of living it up!

This Guide has been assembled by students and staff at NYU, all of whom have had firsthand experience living in the city with limited funds. We don’t claim that this is an exhaustive compilation of NYC activities and discounts, but it’s pretty darn close!!
