The Spring in New York program provides an unprecedented opportunity for you to join the student body at New York University for one semester and explore courses and topics not available at your current college or university. Take advantage of unique courses related to New York City including Introduction to the Galleries and Museums of New York and The Politics of New York. As a full-time student, you will earn credit for all courses you complete and you are eligible to receive a New York University transcript at the end of your semester here.
Choose one of eight areas of study to enhance your current academic interests and goals. Each area of study offers courses that can be applied to fulfill requirements towards your major/minor or elective credits at your home institution. As a program participant, you are required to enroll in a special multidisciplinary course designed specifically for Spring in New York students in addition to your other course selections. Enjoy the flexibility of choosing one course outside of your approved area of study.
