Summer

Check and resolve blocks/holds on ALBERT as soon as possible!

May 19th: Summer 2008 Registration ends. Waitlists for summer end. University Refund Policy grants you a 100% refund for dropping before today.

To complete your Summer 2008 Registration:

  1. Consult the curriculum guide to get a list of courses you should be taking this semester. If you have questions about taking courses out of sequence, please contact your academic advisor.
  2. Once you know the courses you will be taking, you can look up times and days they are offered on ALBERT, which is accessible through NYUHome. Use the .COURSE STATUS. function. If you are unfamiliar with ALBERT, a short, printable guide to using it is available here.
  3. Use the CALL NUMBER listed on the COURSE STATUS page to register on the Register screen.
  4. While you are on the REGISTER screen, register for Field Instruction. This flyer will give you the CALL NUMBER. Your field hours will always read as .TBA., with no days or times.
  5. Confirm your schedule using the STUDENT SCHEDULE option on ALBERT.

Remember:

  • If you are closed out of your first-choice section of a course, the most important thing to do is to sign up for an open section immediately. Once you have done so, you can call the University Registration Helpline at 212-998-4290 if you wish to waitlist yourself for your preferred section.
  • Pay attention to the session in which your course meets.there are two summer sessions. See the calendar for details.
  • Please use printed schedules as rough guides only.the most updated information is on ALBERT.

Fall
