be a silver school of social work student blogger!

Beginning in the 2008 - 2009 academic year, the Silver School of Social Work will feature student blogs on its web site. These blogs will help prospective students understand the academic life of a social work student, and will open another channel of communication among students, faculty and the wider community.

SSSW is looking for six continuing graduate and undergraduate students to represent their classmates by blogging about their experiences with school, field placements and other activities.

commitment


  • Write at least one post per week for the entire academic year (September 2008 through May 2009)
  • Attend training sessions with your fellow bloggers

compensation


  • $1000 for the NYU Book or Computer Stores
  • Fame, fans and celebrity as an official student blogger of the Silver School of Social Work!

qualifications


An ideal student blogger is in good academic standing, active in activities and invested in the SSSW community. You do not need any blogging experience to apply, but you should be comfortable with writing and computers.
