Dina J. Rosenfeld has been working at New York University School of Social Work for 26 years, the past four as Director of the Undergraduate Social Work Program. For the last 11 years she has served as an adoption consultant. In addition to the above, she runs a process group for workers at Visiting Nurse Service Hospice and has worked with individuals, groups, and couples for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Before starting her academic career, Dr. Rosenfeld worked at Downstate Medical Center in the Child Psychiatry and Sex Therapy units. She also served as group work director for the Jewish Association for Services for the Aged.
Dr. Rosenfeld has lectured on a variety of topics including parenting an adopted child, staff and student supervision, feminism, and working with aging Holocaust survivors.
