Dina J. Rosenfeld has been working at New York University Silver School of Social Work for 31 years, the past 12 years as director of the undergraduate social work program and five years as assistant dean. She has helped establish the Spirituality and Social Work Post-Master's Certificate Program. In the last three years she has spearheaded initiatives creating the dual major in social work and global public health and minors in interdisciplinary poverty studies and multi-faith and spiritual leadership. For the last 24 years she has served as an adoption consultant and community educator on adoption. In addition to the above, she has run process group for workers at Visiting Nurse Service Hospice and has worked with individuals, groups, and couples for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Before starting her academic career, Dr. Rosenfeld worked at Downstate Medical Center in the Child Psychiatry and Sex Therapy units. She also served as group work director for the Jewish Association for Services for the Aged.

Dr. Rosenfeld has lectured on a variety of topics, including parenting an adopted child, staff and student supervision, Jewish feminism, social work and spirituality, and working with aging Holocaust survivors.

She earned her MSW and DSW from Yeshiva University School of Social Work.
