This liberal arts college, set on a 47-acre, parklike campus in the scenic Hudson River Valley, offers the opportunity to study in a suburban setting. NYU.s branch campus is just three miles south of the Tappan Zee Bridge; 10 miles north of Fort Lee, New Jersey; and one-half mile from the Palisades Interstate Parkway, making it easily accessible to northern New Jersey; Orange, Rockland, Ulster, and Westchester Counties in New York; and Connecticut. Average class size is 15-20, and students have a wide range of field learning options in local communities. At our Rockland County campus, you may complete all MSW programs except the 16-month and 32-month options and the dual degree programs. Maggie Scarf, Senior Fellow at Yale University's Edward Zigler Center
(formerly the Bush Center), will be the guest speaker at the
Association's Annual Spring Meeting, Friday April 13, 2007. Scarf is
the best-selling author of: Secrets, Lies and Betrayals (2004),
Unfinished Business (2001), Intimate Worlds (1997), Intimate Partners
(1991), and other works. The topic will be: "Thoughts on Emotional

By Car
From New York City via the George Washington Bridge: Bear right crossing the bridge and follow signs to Palisades Interstate Parkway. Travel on the parkway to Exit 5 (Sparkill-Route 303 North). Bear right coming off the ramp and travel north on Route 303 to the first traffic light. Turn right on Route 340. The college is about one-half mile on the left.
From Westchester or Connecticut via the Tappan Zee Bridge: Travel on the New York Thruway to Exit 12. Bear right coming off the ramp and travel south on Route 303 about 4 miles to Route 340. Turn left on Route 340. The college is about one-half mile on the left.
From Bergen County: Follow directions as above via the Palisades Interstate Parkway or take Livingston Street from Northvale, which changes to Route 303, and follow as above.
