The NYU Silver School of Social Work marks this year's Social Work Month with a video contest and series of lectures and events. The Silver School is asking all students to submit videos that will raise awareness of social work and spread the word about why social workers matter. Students should create a short video that completes the sentence: "Social work is _________." Videos must be submitted by Monday, March 25, at 11:59 PM, and prizes will be awarded.

Guidelines:
-Videos must be less than one minute in length
-Videos should be creative representations of social work, using images, words, music, or any other type of creative expression
-Videos must respect confidentiality - your own, your clients', your classmates, your professors, everyone!
-Anyone can submit a video, but only those created by NYU Silver students are eligible for a prize
-To enter the contest, post your completed video on YouTube and fill out the submission form

Prizes:
-1st Place: $100 American Express gift card
-2nd Place: $50 American Express gift card
-3rd Place: $25 American Express gift card

Finalists will be notified by email by Wednesday, March 27, and winners will be announced at the Social Work Month Video Release Party on Friday, March 29, at 1:00 PM. All members of the NYU Silver community are invited to attend the party, enjoy refreshments, and watch the videos!
