Trainings and Conferences

Our Trainings and Conferences provide forums for the introduction of a wide variety of contemporary issues including topics such as trauma, working with veterans, individuals with disabilities, children and families, spirituality and social work, law and social work, evidence based practice, severe mental health, loss and bereavement, leadership, and professional development. Each conference brings together specialists in the field who blend research and practice in providing the audience with topical understanding, skill building, and resource access. Presentations by consumers enrich programs with narratives of personal experiences, challenges they face, and accomplishments they have achieved. Treatment teams and interagency collaboration are emphasized. The trainings provide opportunity for networking with other professionals in the field.
