Palliative and End-of Life Care (PELC): An Introduction to Clinical Concepts Any Social Worker Should Know Instructor, Darren Arthur, MSW, and LCSW

The objective of this program is to introduce basic PELC practice concepts and provide PELC clinical practice knowledge and skills applicable throughout various practice settings and with individuals, couples, and families.

Program Format:

Who Should Attend:

Social Workers who have a BSW and/or MSW; who are new to PELC; who desire a foundation to address PELC issues in their institutional or private practice settings; and/or who are considering a career in PELC.

Learning Goals:

Program participants will learn:

Participants receive 15 NY NASW-CEU credits and a Certificate of Completion for the training.

Program Dates:

The course will take place consecutive Monday evenings, 5pm to 8pm October 22 - November 19, 2012.
