Non-Matriculating Student Option
Applications and Deadlines

An exploratory option for people interested the field of social work but who have not been admitted to the MSW degree program. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited undergraduate school.

The application for the non-degree program consists of:

  • The completed application form
  • Official transcript confirming receipt of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
  • One (1) letter of reference

A $50.00 nonrefundable application fee must accompany the completed application and is not credited toward tuition. Non-degree applicants are not eligible for University, state, or federal financial aid.

Extension Site Summer Deadline: The application deadline for non-matriculating students at Sarah Lawrence College, College of Staten Island and St. Thomas Aquinas campuses is April 11, 2008. There is no non-matriculated summer program currently offered at the Washington Square Campus.
