In a society where the accuracy of our news is constantly questioned, while media companies navigate changing markets and increasing attacks, how do we stay engaged and informed? The NYU Social Entrepreneurship Program is partnering with new media company Axios to discuss the future of media, changes in news and entertainment, and the role of journalism in our system of checks and balances.

This event will feature one-on-one conversations with cable and network leaders about industry trends, as well as a deep dive with journalists into how news agencies are navigating a new generation of consumers in today’s tense political climate.

Presented as part of the new SKIRBALL TALKS series. Mondays at 6:30 during the academic terms, SKIRBALL TALKS hosts visionaries from the worlds of politics, the arts, sciences, academia, and more. Future guests include Eckhart Tolle and Marion Nestle.
