It’s important to know your HIV status for many reasons. These include knowing so that you can protect your partners as well as your own health. The NYU Student Health Center offers free and confidential HIV testing to students in Primary Care Services as well as through regular outreach efforts on campus. If you are sexually active or have ever injected drugs, regular testing is recommended. As part of World AIDS Week/HIV Awareness efforts, the SHC will be conducting 2 HIV testing outreach events this week. Protect yourself as well as your partners by joining thousands this week to get tested.
Participate in one of many different World AIDS Week/HIV Awareness activities this week. If you have more questions or want to schedule an appointment to get tested, HIV services are offered through Primary Care on the 4th floor of the Student Health Center (726 Broadway). To schedule an appointment, call (212) 443-1122. For HIV info, call (212) 443-1000.
