Focus - It might feel more productive to do several things at once, but new studies reveal that switching rapidly between tasks can actually slow you down. Trying to juggle many tasks at once can make our brains lose connections to important information. We actually aren’t able to focus on more than one task at once, and instead have to quickly move from thought to thought. So, in the end, it takes longer because we have to remind our brains what we were working on.
Thought for the week: Maintain your focus, one activity at a time!
