Postdoctoral Fellowship
The New York University Student Health Center's Counseling & Behavioral Health Services announces the availability of five postdoctoral psychology fellowships (appointment period: September 1, 2010 - August 31, 2011). Our clinic offers crisis intervention, brief psychotherapy, and group psychotherapy with a diverse population of undergraduate and graduate students.
Training includes: Weekly seminars, supervision, and case presentations.
Appointments: September 1 - August 31
Salary: Competitive, with excellent benefits.
Requirements: Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology preferred, but will consider ABD (all but dissertation) candidates.

Psychology Externship
Counseling and Behavioral Health Services offers an opportunity to learn brief treatment approaches, referral skills, diagnostic formulation and crisis management skills with a college and graduate student population. Third and fourth year Clinical/Counseling Psychology students are invited to apply, and exceptional second year students will be considered. Hospital clinical experience and/or demonstrated ability in intake, assessment and DSM diagnostic formulation are required.
