All matriculated NYU students now have access to many health-related services at no cost or low cost, including:
- Enhanced Outreach Initiatives:
- Flu Vaccine and Community-based Immunizations
- Expanded Group Treatment Programs including 1-2 session classes on stress management, time management, and insomnia
- Improved Interactive Health Education
- Enhanced Use of Technology
- Wireless Access at the SHC
- Online Appointments (accessible through the NYU Life tab of NYU Home)
All matriculated students are eligible to use the SHC, even if they waived the NYU-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plans.
We are pleased to announce the following service improvements that are available Fall 2007:
- Self check-in kiosks for Primary Care, Women's Health, and Counseling & Behavioral Health Services.
- On-line appointments for certain types of visits that will allow you to make your appointments at your convenience, 24/7.
