RESERVATION FORM-
Conference Organizers have arranged for a limited
number of spaces to be reserved for conference participants in NYU Dormitory
Housing. We expect most of our participants choosing dorm housing to
be housed in Weinstein Hall, which is located at 5-11 University Place.
Reservations are based on double occupancy bedrooms in multi bedroom
units (2-5 people per unit) with shared baths. Single occupancy bedrooms
may be requested and are a higher cost, however, they are limited and
cannot be guaranteed. ALL DORM RESERVATIONS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE.
All rooms are air-conditioned and furnished with twin size beds, dressers
and desks. All facilities have 24 hour security and all participants
will be required to show picture id in order to enter the dorms. Family
housing requests, including spouses, partners and children cannot be
accommodated. Participants needing this type of accommodation should
seek hotel accommodations. Participants must be at least 17 years of
age. Early arrivals are not permitted and reservations cannot be extended
beyond the dates of the conference.
The reception desk in the dorm is the primary
contact point for information, check-in, check-out, maintenance concerns,
messages and emergencies. Conference Organizers will not be available
within the dorm for assistance.
Linens are provided at check-in. Linen packages
include a small towel, sheet set, pillow, and blanket. No linen exchanges
will be made during the duration of the conference. You may wish to
bring a few items of your own to supplement this supply such as alarm
clock, soap, shampoo, hair dryer with adaptor if necessary, etc. Kmart
and several other stores are nearby for most basics if you forget something.
No cleaning, maid or meal services will be provided
during your stay. You are responsible for the daily upkeep of your room.
Coin operated laundry facilities are available
for your use.
Telephones and televisions are not provided in
rooms. Public telephones and a tv lounge are available within the dorm.
