Columbus provides a comprehensive view of NYU’s Washington Square facilities, inclusive of drawings, square footages, and School and Departmental allocations. This information is available to authorized University staff.
ROLE OF DATA STEWARD & USERS OF THE COLUMBUS SYSTEM
The role of Space Planning is to maintain, modify and operate the Columbus system. All new spaces added to the system must comply with the University standards. Space assignments will periodically be verified by Space Planning.
The role of the Schools and Administrative Units is to identify any discrepancies between field conditions and information included in the database (alphanumeric or graphic). Any other discrepancy in the assignee and occupants should be reported by the department to email address: email@example.com
