As a Project Manager in the Office of Strategic Assessment, Planning and Design, Daniella LaRocco is responsible for:

  1. Overseeing planning and feasibility studies for University clients, including programming, planning, and pre-design for major capital projects
  2. Developing the University's 25-year planning outlook, NYU PLANS 2031
  3. Advising on issues related to zoning and land use and long-range space planning
  4. Coordinating the University's long and short range planning efforts
  5. Leading initiatives to improve the efficient and appropriate use of space

Daniella is an urban planner who comes to NYU from the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation where she managed planning projects for Fulton Street, Greenwich Street south of the WTC site, New York Stock Exchange area and Chinatown. Daniella has also worked at the Times Square Alliance, where she focused on streetscape, open space and pedestrian issues, and the Municipal Art Society. She has a BA from Vassar College and a Master in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
