William Haas is the Director of Planning at New York University. He is responsible for developing a strategy for accommodating NYU's long term growth as well as addressing shorter term needs as identified by various schools and administrative units. Prior to joining NYU, Will served as the Project Director of Hudson Yards, New York City's largest land use and transportation proposal in the past several decades, with the Manhattan Office of the New York City Department of City Planning. He holds a Master's degree in City Planning from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
