Renee Burillo is a Planning Analyst in the Office of Strategic Assessment, Planning & Design. She is responsible for:

  1. Providing analysis for the NYU's Strategic Planning Initiative and other Campus Planning projects
  2. Assisting with the development of the University's Sustainable Design Standards & Guidelines and other Design initiatives

Renee is an urban planner who comes to NYU from Project for Public Spaces, a non-profit urban design and planning firm, where she was an Associate in Project Management working primarily transportation and parks related jobs, including an AARP-partnered transportation reform campaign and a series of park and streetscape improvements in Indianapolis, IN, amongst others. She has a BA from NYU in Metropolitan Studies and a MS in Urban Planning from Columbia University.  Renee happily lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two cats.
