Interested in applying for a Green Grant?  Stop by this information session to get answers to all your questions about the grant process and how you can create a more viable proposal.

Green Grants are awarded by the NYU Sustainability Task Force to teams of students, faculty, administrators and staff with ideas for projects that spark the imagination of the NYU community and advance our long-term future as a sustainable university.

The Green Grants will fund projects that reduce NYU’s adverse environmental impacts, engage the campus community, demonstrate the viability of best practices and technologies, and advance applied research and educational goals.

Any NYU student, faculty member, or employee may serve as the lead sponsor of a project (and may partner with outside organizations, community groups, alumni, etc.).

LETTERS OF INTENT REQUESTED BY MONDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2008.  PROJECT PROPOSALS DUE BY MONDAY, MARCH 3, 2008.

Potential project leaders are strongly encouraged to submit a brief Letter of Intent in advance of the application deadline.

For more detailed information, requirements, and submission guidelines and forms, visit www.nyu.edu/sustainability/greengrants.
