As adults, we know that sleep or the lack of sleep directly impacts our ability to perform at our best. Similarly for children, sleep problems can interfere with their ability to pay attention and learn in preschool and beyond. Join us to hear about new research findings on the link between sleep and school success. Learn about the most common sleep problems in young children and the signs to identify what might indicate a “real” sleep disorder. Strategies to address and remediate serious underlying medical problems that may be resulting in attention, behavior, and learning problems will also be reviewed.
