As president of the Council of Environmental Deans and Directors, Barnard College professor STEPHANIE PFIRMAN is a leader in developing environmental studies as an interdisciplinary field. Her areas of expertise include the study of the Arctic environment, the advancement of women in science, and interdisciplinary scholarship.
Her lecture will address the impact of climate change and sustainable development on Arctice ice.
