The NYU Data Service Studio will be offering a two session workshop to familiarize students with the SPSS software package and to analyze the "fragile families" data set using SPSS. Natasza Marrouch, Quantitative Research Specialist, will lead the two part training.



Session 1

Wednesday, 2/20, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

Aim: Familiarize participants with statistical software; refresh knowledge of null hypothesis testing.



Session 2

Wednesday, 2/27, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

Aim: Give participants an opportunity to translate research questions into statistical analysis, exercise adjusting for relevant factors, and read/interpret the SPSS output.
