Once known s a soup kitchen, The Bowery Mission is sometimes referred to as the busiest "restaurant" in New York City, serving more than 900 meals per day to poor and homeless men, women, and children and more recently, the unemployed who are doing everything possible to make ends meet.  Volunteers will help prepare, serve and clean up form lunch or dinner alongside our staff and resident students at 227 Bowery.

Check-in will be held on the 7th Floor of Kimmel Center at 8:45AM.  Site Leaders will meet and greet team members and will serve as a guide both to and from agency sites.  Please arrive on time.  Please dress appropriately, no open shoes or dangling earrings.  All valuable items should be left at home.
