Like working with kids and doing engineering projects with them?  The PBS program Design Squad Nation, WNET Thirteen, and the New York Hall of Science are looking for volunteers to help lead kids of all ages in hands-on problem solving and engineering activities.  Volunteers are needed on January 15, 2011 from 10:30am to 5:00pm at the New York Hall of Science in Queens.  The event will run from noon - 5:00pm.  This one-day event will be a great opportunity to help local kids unleash their creativity and problem-solving skills and open doors to a rewarding career in engineering.  In addition, you'll receive training, lunch, a Design Squad Nation t-shirt, and an opportunity to meet the engineer hosts of Design Squad Nation - Judy Lee and Adam Vollmer!  Space is limited!

Check-in  will be held on the 7th Floor of Kimmel Center at 9:00AM.  Site Leaders will meet and greet team members and will serve as a guide both to and from agency site.  Please arrive on time.   All valuable items should be kept at home.
