Light The Night is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) nationwide evening fundraising walk to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer.  In 2008, LLS' Light The Night Walk raised in excess of $40 million nationally for research and patient services.  Particpants walk along a two-to three mile route, carrying illuminated balloons - white for patients and survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost.  We are looking for groups of volunteers to come into our office and assemble battery packs to illuminate our 20,000 balloons and in addition, we'll need volunteers to assist at the actual walksite locations.

Saturday, October 3rd - Staten Island - Midland Beach Promenade
Thursday, October 15th - Manhattan - South Street Seaport/Brooklyn Bridge
Saturday, October 17th - Queens - Forest Park
