2010 Application and Notification Timeline

January 22, 2010: Deadline for interested students to submit the NYU Reynolds Program Undergraduate Scholarship application online.

You must first submit Part I (Undergraduate Scholarship Application Intent Form) of your online application here. This portion of your application serves two purposes:

• Notification to the NYU Reynolds Program of your intent to complete an application for an NYU Reynolds Undergraduate Scholarship and
• Notification to your recommenders of this intent and to provide them with instructions on how to complete their portion of your application.

Please Note: Part I is required in order for you to proceed with your application. Part I can be completed at any time prior to the application deadline, however your recommenders will not be able to complete their portion of your application until you have completed this form. Therefore, you should complete this portion as soon as you know whom your recommenders will be.

Following the completion of Part I of your application, you will receive an email confirmation with a unique applicant ID and a link to the application form. You will need the applicant ID in order to complete Part II of your application. You cannot continue to Part II without first completing Part I.

February 1, 2010: Each school nominates semi-finalist candidates. There will be a total of 77 semi-finalists nominated university-wide. The number of semi-finalists per school is based on enrollment and is as follows:

• CAS: 25
• Dentistry / Nursing: 2
• Gallatin: 5
• Liberal Studies: 1
• Poly: 7
• SCPS: 5
• SSW: 2
• Steinhardt: 10
• Stern: 10
• Tisch: 10

February 4-11, 2010: Internal Selection Committee Phase I: The Reynolds Internal Selection Committee reviews the 78 semi-finalist applications and makes recommendations for 20 finalists. All Reynolds applicants will be notified of their status via email by February 11, 2010. Applicants may be contacted via phone or email during the ISC Process.

February 15-23, 2010: Each Reynolds UG finalist will partipate in a 60 minute interview, and 45 minute discussion with current and former scholars.

February 24, 2010: Up to 10 Undergraduate Reynolds Scholars are named by the Reynolds Program.
