Ralph Vacca is focused on the intersection of technology, learning, and self-awareness so as to realize self-actualized members of society.
Ralph graduated from Baruch College, City University of New York (CUNY) where he majored in Entrepreneurship Management. Emerging as a winner of the 2003 Baruch Entrepreneurship Competition, he co-founded Kognito Interactive, whose mission is to provide cost-effective and quality hands-on learning experiences that empower individuals to develop their ability to understand, communicate, and manage others for the betterment of the organization and society. Since 2003, Kognito has produced several award-winning simulations that have achieved a significant social impact.
Ralph has also consulted with various educational organizations on curriculum design, has taught at the high school and university level, and has designed several games for social change. He works with New Visions for Public Schools on empowering teachers to collaborate with technologists to envision new forms of digital learning experiences for students in and out of the classroom. Ralph is also a doctoral student at NYU Steinhardt School of Education focused on the use of adaptive learning to promote empathy, self-awareness, and self-regulation.
