Dr. Brian Levine is currently completing his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University. In addition to this clinical training, he is still working closely with New York University on technological healthcare projects in Ghana. He plans to return to Ghana later this year to continue his work with DocWorks, a technology-based project he started while a graduate Fellow in the NYU Reynolds Program in Social Entrepreneurship.

DocWorks is a new communications network designed to facilitate easy contact among doctors and medical professionals in hard-toserve regions of the developing world. To date, more than 90% of the doctors in Ghana are using the network and over 1,000,000 phone calls have been logged.
