Sara Keenan currently works with Achievement First, a growing network of high-performing charter schools in Brooklyn and Connecticut. In her role as Director of Leadership Development, Sara coordinates learning and development opportunities for the organizations’ teacher leaders, deans, and principals. Committed to the premise that schools are only as good as the people in them, Achievement First places intense value on the recruitment, development and retention of high-quality teachers and leaders.

Sara is thrilled to work towards Achievement First’s mission of delivering on the promise of equal educational opportunity for all children through developing the talent of our leaders and creating multiple leadership pathways for stellar teachers. Drawing on her experience as Curriculum Officer for the Reynolds Program in Social Entrepreneurship, Sara manages a Leadership Fellows cohort for Achievement First teachers and works to create meaningful adult learning experiences for leaders across the network.
