The Department of Public Safety coordinates services that help to maintain the safety and security of the NYU community. Committed to service and safety Public Safety department manages the NYU ID Card, Campus Transportation, and Campus Safety Initiatives.
Every residence hall is host to a Public Safety Officer which monitors the access to that residence hall 24 hours, 7 days a week.
