Applicants not in the New York Metropolitan Area during the Spring Semester:

In the past, we have interviewed and offered positions to many talented and experienced applicants who were entering transfer or graduate students beginning the following Fall term. We continue to encourage such persons to submit applications and follow up with us regarding their transition to NYU. Because of the nature of our selection process, we must require that even applicants outside of New York take part in our Resident Assistant Leadership Institute.

If you are currently studying abroad during the Fall semester:

You may obtain the information you need to submit an application on this web site. You must be available to take part in the Resident Assistant Leadership Institute here in New York in the Spring semester.

If you will be studying abroad in the Spring semester:

An intensive Resident Assistant Leadership Institute will be offered here in New York in mid to late November (see time line) prior to your study abroad program.
