Office Hours
The Community Development Educator is available Monday through Friday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. The Residence Hall Operations Manager is available Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Department of Housing Staff
Residence Hall Operations Manager: The Manager (or RHOM) oversees all the administrative functions of the area, and supervises the front desk and operations staff. The RHOM is primarily responsible for administrative/facility operations. This includes room assignments, occupancy control and maintaining student records. Additionally, the RHOM acts as a liaison between residents and Facilities, Central/Summer Housing and the rest of the University. Graduate Housing Assistant: The Graduate Housing Assistant (GHA) works with the RHOM and Housing offices assisting in the overall operation of the residence hall. The 14 Washington Place GHA can be reached in the ManagerŐs Office at 998-4210.
Operations Assistants: These Operations Assistants are the primary source of information and communication for the area. The front desk can be reached at 998-4590. They act as a team to serve the 14 Washington Place community as well. Their primary function is to provide assistance to residents. The OA staff assists the administrative office, mailroom and front desk.
Engineering and Housekeeping: The Engineering and Housekeeping staff can be accessed through the front desk via Service Request forms. The front desk staff will help residents complete the appropriate paperwork to address any facilities issues they may have in their apartment. Any problems in service (recurring problems or damages, service not completed in a timely manner, etc.) should be forwarded to the RHOM or GHA in the management office.
Hall Office
Hall Office locations: Enter through the main entrance to WSV 4 off Bleecker Street just West of Mercer Street (Office of the Community Development Educator [CDE]), and 4 Washington Square Village, #1A New York, NY 10012 (Office of the Residence Hall Operations Manager [RHOM]). The Community Development Educator oversees all Residential Education programs and services, student issues and community relations. The Residence Hall Operations Manager oversees all housing administration and services.
