In order to participate in the Phase III Hall/Room Selection process you must have submitted the Phase II Lottery Card by the March 27, 2009 deadline.
Students who met the Phase I requirements but did not submit the Phase II lottery card by the March 27, 2009 lottery card submission deadline will maintain their housing guarantee but will be administratively assigned by the Housing Department before the August 2009 check in.
Students who submitted the Phase II lottery card but do not participate in the Phase III Hall/Room Selection will be administratively assigned by the Housing Department before the August 2009 check in.
If you submitted a lottery card and were subsequently:
- accepted to live in Residential Education's special interest housing (Explorations, CHOICES, The Green House, The Residential College at Broome Street, Fraternity and Sorority Life)
- chosen as a Residential Education staff member (Resident Assistant) for next year
- admitted to participate in a Study Abroad program
you have been removed from your card. If you were the card captain, a new card captain was automatically assigned to a student remaining on the card. If you are a member of any of the groups mentioned above please confirm with your group that they are aware you are no longer a member of your card.
Hall/Room Selection times are determined by a randomized sorting within placement priority categories. Students submitting names together will have individual priorities averaged to create one group priority. Students submitting names together on one card does not guarantee placement together in a building nor a room assignment together.
