In addition to submitting the on-line 2009-2010 Re-Application, to secure 2009-2010 undergraduate housing, a non-refundable/non-transferable $1000 application deposit must be paid by February 27, 2009. Financial Aid and Tuition Pay may not be used to cover this payment.
This payment will be applied to fall 2009 housing charges.
Please be reminded that the terms of the housing license are for both fall 2009 and spring 2010 term. This is a 9 month commitment.
If payment of the $1000 application deposit is not received by February 27, 2009:
- your fall 2009 housing application will be canceled.
- you will only be eligible to apply for NYU housing through the waitlist.
- NYU housing will not be guaranteed in the future.
How to Pay
(Tuition Pay and Financial Aid may not be used for this payment)
Upon completion of the on-line re-application, you will be prompted to a Housing Deposit Payment Coupon which will include detailed instructions on making:
- a direct check or money order payment to the Bursar.
- an electronic check E-Check
- a credit card payment credit card (Bill Matrix)
Complete the Housing Payment Deposit Coupon and submit to the Bursar’s Office, by mail, 7 East 12th St., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10003, or in person at 25 West 4th St., Main Floor.
NOTE: 2009-2010 housing Rates have been posted. In response to student feedback some reclassifications and corresponding rate adjustments have been made in rooms and suites. Some reclassifications reduce rates of small doubles, increase rates of some doubles, and increase rates for single rooms." Please review rates carefully.
