The Department of Residential Life and Housing Services, working in conjunction with the Office of Community Standards is located in the C2 Level of Third Avenue North Residence Hall (75 Third Avenue). This office is responsible for ensuring that the student conduct process is properly executed for Residential Life and Housing Services related matters. Most cases are handled at the hall level by Residence Hall Director or Residence Hall Assistant Director. More serious incidents, or those involving repeat offenders, are referred to the Office of Community Standards. In all cases, staff members take an educational approach to student discipline. The goal is to help a student develop and learn from their behavior while holding them accountable for their decisions.
