Nic Evans

Degree: M.Ed. Higher Education Administration/Curriculum & Instruction, University of South Florida, Tampa/B.S. Marketing, Johnson & Wales University, Providence

Leadership experience: Nic has been involved with student leadership since he was a student leader himself. He held several positions while attaining his education including leadership positions in local, regional and national student organizations. Nic served as editor-in- chief of four yearbook publications and was elected Student Body President in his junior year of college. As a professional, Nic has advised several student organizations including his work with students at the nation's very first Robert Greenleaf Servant Leadership House. The House is located at the University of South Florida. Nic also instructed credit-bearing leadership courses in the leadership minor program at the same institution. Nic now serves as advisor to the Inter-Residence Hall Council at New York University and performs various leadership training and development activities at the institution.

Leadership Experience: At former institution served as the RHA President for two years, attended five regional/national conferences (two MACURHs, one No Frills, and two NACURHs), attended one student affairs workshop at the University of Iowa, Hall Council President, Student Government for two years, many committees, presented twice at our regional conference (MACURH). Currently co-advise IRHC, and actively involved in NACURH.
