I want to express my deepest gratitude to all involved in the development of the Handbook and website. This effort was the collective work of a diverse and large team of colleagues, all of whom were committed to making the Handbook/ website user-friendly and responsive to the needs of Principal Investigators and their staff.
Our colleagues in the Office of Sponsored Programs and OSP’s Contracts Office spent countless hours reviewing the Handbook, researching and redrafting policies, and clarifying language. I am especially grateful to Marti Dunne, Richard Louth, and Victoria McCoy-Cosentino.
The Value Added Team (VAT), a committee of school and departmental administrators, headed by Leslie C. Brown, Executive Director, Financial Planning & Operations at The Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, met with SPA’s Handbook team numerous times to review practically every word in the Handbook. Michael T. Marino, Assistant Director of the Center for Health, Identity, Behavior, and Prevention, also provided valuable feedback.
The Office of Compliance & Risk Management helped place policies in the NYU Policy Library.
Numerous members of the faculty invested significant time and effort reviewing and critically assessing the Handbook/ website:

Numerous colleagues also spent many hours developing the website’s Do's and Don’ts videos, and they all did a great job:
We intend for this tool to grow and evolve along with NYU’s research initiatives as part of the Global Network University. To every colleague that helped make this Handbook and website possible, including any I inadvertently forgot to acknowledge, I express my genuine heart-felt appreciation.
